pubCenter expanding supported Countries even further

Since we were getting a lot of hits to our earlier post about pubCenter expansion, we thought it would be better if we also post about this updated news from Microsoft Advertising. And it certainly is a good news for windows phone developers as pubCenter is now expanding its payout support to 17 more markets. That would mean developers/publishers from a total of 36 countries worldwide will now be able to monetize their windows phone apps using pubCenter. Austria, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Luxemburg, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea and Taiwan are the new markets that are being added.

Apart from this, pubCenter is also giving an opportunity to developers who opened an account in pubCenter with an incorrect country of residence, to move their account to an account with their correct country of residence. It is a limited time opportunity, and the migration steps need to be completed by by July 31, 2012.

Please head over to the Offical Announcement post by Microsoft Advertising to get more details about this migration opportunity and also to know Minimum Payout limits for individual markets.

As we stated earlier, pubCenter is still one of the leading monetization aspects of windows phone for free applications (due to its impression based model) and it is great to see that developers from more and more countries are being supported.

Happy developing and monetizing your apps!
